"In the face of such destruction, suffering, and death, many people question how a good and loving God could allow such evil to happen. However, this is just another painful reminder of how the curse of sin has affected our world."
They are claiming that the Earthquake in Japan is somehow a punishment for sinful behaviour. This is such a sickeningly reprehensible view to take on the matter. Many people have died and are missing, people are suffering all over the place, and the best they can do is words to the effect of 'they deserved it'. I am struggling to continue writing this article without allowing my anger at such immoral views to come through.
Answers in Genesis should issue a public apology for such downright disgusting views. How can anybody in their right mind claim, or even think that such a disaster is punishment for sin from God? We know what causes earthquakes and it is not sin. I would urge anybody who reads this to contact Answers in Genesis and make a complaint about their horrible statements.
